Cumbria CVS supports Third Sector (voluntary and community) groups in Cumbria by:

• delivering local services to third sector groups including advice, training and support in running, managing and developing groups and organisations
• providing information on funding opportunities and issues which affect the work of Third Sector groups
• providing the public with information and contact details of Third Sector groups
• giving strategic direction and representation for the sector
• being a focal point for information about, and raising the status, of the sector

Cumbria CVS is currently taking over the successful net:gain offering in Cumbria, previously provided by Deafvision (formerly Cumbria Deaf Association), and we are pleased that they are supporting us in this transfer.
